Commentary

Canty Bay is a particularly sensitive are and the property required much needed modernisation. 

It benefits from a stunning costal location and is home to very few properties which can only be occupied for holiday purposes. 

APT worked closely with the client, architect to ensure that proposed development met all of the key policy tests whilst meeting the clients’ aspirations. 

This collaborative working meant that the site was recommended for approval despite considerable local objection.

Planning permission was granted.
